Bowling starts out strong in 2018

The FHS Boy’s Bowling teams have started 2018 perfectly beating both Open Door & Wellington.  Ian Hughey again had a great 278 game with 10 strikes & a spare.  Brian Smith was right behind bowling a 254 – a personal high.  Matthew Lake and John Mullins also added multiple 200+ games.  Caleb Hewlett had a

Congrats to all FHS bowlers for a good afternoon of bowling even though we didn’t get the victories.  North Olmsted is one the top 2 or 3 teams in our bowling conference this year.   Juliana Phillips’ 213 missed by 2 pins (darn split in the 10th) of being in the top 3 games so far

On Sunday the Firelands bowling teams competed in the North Shore Bowling Conference Tournament. The Firelands Girls WON the Division II championship beating 8 other teams. The Girls and Boys Bowling teams both finished the first half of bowling with 2-6 records. Angela Rivera & Tessa Kasper have the top averages on the Girls team. High games for the Girls are Angela’s 209 and Lexie Hughey’s 190. For the boys, the top averages are held by Matthew Lake and John Mullins.
