The girls soccer team ended their regular season this week. The varsity team beat Oberlin on Saturday and is now 9-6-1. Sophomore Bella Simmons led the Falcons with three goals, which put her at the top of the conference in scoring with 18. Freshmen Cara Mitchell and Morgan Janicek each had a goal too. Assisting those goals were Dylan Koba-Nelson (2), Audrey Lyons, Gracie Yonts, and Julia Douzos. Madison and Megan Sutton picked up the shutout with the help of a strong defense.
The JV team wrapped up their season last Thursday, with a 1-1 tie vs Huron. Madison Sutton had the goal for the Falcons. The team showed much growth and improved each game that they played.
Tournament play begins on Monday. The team plays Lutheran West at home.
