The Firelands Falcons Varsity Wrestling team competed in the Perrysburg Invitational Tournament (P.I.T) this weekend. Much like the Medina Invitational Tournament- the P.I.T is known to be one of the more difficult tournaments in the state of Ohio. The Falcons finished 11th out of the 26 team field- just slightly out of the top 10.

Burgdorf Captures Wrestler of the Week Honors for Second Week Straight

Sophomore Payton Burgodorf has won his second wrestler of the week article in as many weeks. Last week he won the honor in the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram, this week he claims the title in the Lorain Morning Journal. The awards are in large part due to Payton’s 15-0 record and his dominance in Defiance last weekend
