Thank you to all of the coaches, players and parents that made this season a reality. The effort that was put into this season was a great example to these young ladies about perseverance and dedication. Like most of our lives in 2020, there may have been some differences from a “normal” season, but when it was all said and done and the girls were able to get onto the court and play everything felt “normal”. It all started back in August and end in October, but the memories made on and off the court will continue on throughout your lives. We are all blessed to have great people impact our lives here at Firelands and look forward to watching these young ladies continue their athletic careers as Falcons.
The 8th grade volleyball team also finished their season against Black River last night! They didn’t win but the fought hard!! They had a season with some rough patches but are a good group of girls!!! I am happy you got to finish the season!!! Here is the team!!!
Last night the south Amherst middle school played Black River in one of the most exciting, action packed volleyball games of the season. The falcons fought hard and played amazing volleyball but did not take the win. The lady falcons are second place in the conference and Mrs. Gundersen is so proud of these girls. If you see one of these amazing girls give them a fist pump on a great season!
