Game Recap

The girls soccer team improves to 6-2-1 and remain undefeated in the conference. They beat Brooklyn 5-0. Lexi McCrary had a hat trick, scoring two in the first half and one more in the second. Jordan Janosik and Alaina Becker added a goal apiece. Assisting those goals were Peyton Phillips, Isabel Solowiej, Sammie Novak and Leah Songer. Picking up the second shutout of the season was Macey Butchko behind a solid defense led by Solowiej, Savannah Klingman, Andria Mains, Emma McDevitt, Rachel Taddeo, Brianna Toledo, Kaylee Boggs, Lilly Laughrey, and Alex Trendle. Controlling the midfield was Julia Dozous, Jordan Janosik, Sammie Novak, Leah Songer, Peyton Phillips, Alessandra Davis, Audrey Lyons, Alaina Becker, Alyssa Danicki, Rylee Maggard, Bekah Selent and Trinity Craycraft. Putting the pressure on the Hurricanes up top were McCrary, Dylan Koba-Nelson, Gracie Ransom and Jordyn Domin. The girls play next at home on Saturday. The JV starts at 11:00 followed by the varsity at 1:00. Congratulations to the boys team who also beat Brooklyn.
